From Richmond / You can catch the 190 bus / Buses leave every 20-30 minutes / The journey should take no more than 35minutes

From Ealing / You can catch the E3 bus which runs from Acton, via Turnham Green (District Line) and Burlington Lane (Chiswick Mainline to Waterloo) to its terminus at the east end of Edensor Road. The 190 bus from Hammersmith (Piccadilly and District Lines) to Richmond (District Line and Mainline) passes the west end of Edensor Road on the A316 (Burlington Lane) / Buses run every 20-30mins

From Shepherds Bush / You can catch the 272 bus which runs from Shepherds Bush, via Wormwood Scrubs, East Acton, Acton Vale and Turham Green to Chiswick (Grove Park) / Buses leave every 20-30minutes

Thames Path / Perhaps the most ideal way of approaching Chiswick / The Thames Path runs from the source of the River Thames to Canary Wharf / The path runs both sides of the River / Why not start at Putney Bridge and walk upstream via Bishop's Park, Fulham Reach, pass under the impressive Hammersmith Bridge, past the numerous boat houses, the residential moorings, the old public houses and then pass the charming private houses along Hammersmith Upper Mall and Chiswick Mall / http://www.thames-path.co.uk/
